WEATHER: Showers over East Midlands, chance of thunder
The Met Office has forecast a dry morning with sunny spells but turning wetter later today (Wednesday, April 13).
After early mists clear, expect the dry morning to become cloudier by the afternoon with scattered showers developing, with a chance of getting quite heavy and thundery.
Feeling pleasantly warm with light winds and a maximum temperature of 16 degrees centigrade.
Showers will die out this evening with the night remaining mainly dry across the region with some mist patches by Thursday morning, and a minimum temperature of five degrees.
