Woman seen walking into flood water on busy Derbyshire A-road during Storm Babet found safe

A woman who was spotted walking into flood water in Derbyshire at the weekend was found safe and well today.

Derbyshire Police received reports of a woman who was seen walking into flood water on the A52 near Chaddesden on Saturday, October 21.

The force issued an appeal due to concerns for her safety following these reports.

Today, officers confirmed that she had been found and was safe and well. A force spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who helped by responding to our appeal to find her.”
