COMMUNICATIONS giant TalkTalk is sponsoring Duffield’s Christmas festivities this year.
The village has received a £600 boost from the company, which will go towards providing Christmas trees on all the high street shops and a large, main tree at the junction of Wirksworth Road and the A6.
Sally Bygraves, of Duffield Parish Council, said: “With the financial support of TalkTalk we can enhance the fantastic display of Christmas trees and decorations in Duffield.
“To be able to make the village look so wonderful again this year for visitors and the people of Duffield is brilliant. Thank you TalkTalk.”
Alongside the Christmas sponsorship deal, TalkTalk is investing £50,000 in technology in Duffield to give customers access to better, faster, reliable broadband services.
Tristia Clarke, commercial director at TalkTalk, said: “We are proud to be supporting Duffield’s Christmas decorations. TalkTalk is literally making Duffield a brighter village for everyone.”
