You can help county council to be fair

BELPER residents can have their say on new proposals to help Derbyshire County Council be as fair as possible in everything it does.

The council has drafted eight key objectives which it aims to work towards over the next four years to support its new Equality and Diversity Policy.

It is asking for feedback from the communities it serves to ensure the objectives address the issues they face.

Cllr Carol Hart said: “We’re committed to being fair in everything we do.

“Although we’re not obliged to consult, we believe it’s important to do so.”

To do the online survey go to by March 4.

If you can’t get online, ring John Cowings on 01629 538384.
