Your help is needed

Town councillors need volunteers to help them shape the future of the community.

Darley Dale Town Council will shortly begin consultation on its Neighbourhood Plan, which sets out how local people wish to see their town develop.

Cllr Ian Walker pointed out that with the new housing proposed as part of Derbyshire Dales District Council’s Local Plan, the Neighbourhood Plan would need to take into consideration the effects on things such as schools, GPs and traffic.
