Belper Meadows first XI were handed a big local derby defeat at Denby seconds when they fell to a huge 131-run defeat.
Meadows got off to a great start when they had home opener Anil Bria caught by Warren Brown off the bowling of Matt Murfin with no runs on the scoreboard.
Denby totalled 225-5 from their 46 overs, opener Ross Perry-Taylor top scoring with 93.
The second wicket fell at 62-2, Rob Peat going for 29, Brown taking another of his total of four catches, this time off the bowling of Michael Cox.
Perry-Taylor was the fifth wicket at 192-5 but Mark Payne (541 not out) and Jonathan Simms (19 not out) steered the hosts to their total.
Richard Marsh finished the top wicket taker with 2-41 from nine overs; Murfin ended with 1-61 from 12, Cox 1-18 from six and Ben Buckley with 1-70 from 14.
In reply, the Meadows lost Adrian Marsh at 25-1 and although they steadied, 55-3 soon became 74-8, 81-9 and then 94 all out .
For Denby, Simon Mann finished with 4-19 from seven overs, Jonathan Simms 2-35 from 11 and Garry Cresswell with 2-20 from eight overs.
