This Derbyshire County Cricket League Division 3 North contest was Ashover Barbarians' first game under their new club name after close-season merger with Chesterfield Barbarians.

Ashover posted 96-9 off 40 overs with Darren Parkin recording 33 runs.

Paul Revill took three wickets for the loss of 12 runs in his 10 overs, which Joe Stenton and James Naylor took a couple of wickets each.

David Revill scored 38 off 72 balls guided Hundall to a match-wining position as expensive 24th and 25th overs went for double figures, something no other over did in the match, taking the game away from Ashover.

Ashover opening bowlers Jonathan Taylour and Jacob Roche claimed three wickets each but James Weston hit a four and a big six to get Hundall over the line in the 33rd over, with a score of 98-8.
