Belper Town Football Club has signed a deal with Lubrizol to sponsor the club’s new Academy.
Lubrizol will see their company name on the team shirts and will also publicise their involvement with the Academy by taking up prominent branding at the main entrance to the Marston’s Stadium as well as through pitchside advertising.
Announcing the agreement, Belper Town’s Commercial Director Mike Matthews said, “It is gratifying that such a forward thinking company such as Lubrizol wants to become involved in the development of our young footballers.
“We are excited at the prospect of teaming up with this highly respected global brand, whose local presence will enable both partners to benefit.
“Our Academy students through work experience visits and exposure to Lubrizol managers, and for Lubrizol employees to work with Academy tutors and students.
“It will be an exciting year.”
Lubrizol spokesman Lawrie Peck added, “It is a privilege for Lubrizol to pro-actively support the exciting development opportunities such as those being provided through the new Belper Town FC Academy.
“As a technology-driven global company that develops specialty chemical products for a wide range of industries, including those within the sports, health and automotive sectors, Lubrizol’s success is built upon effective collaborative teamwork that enhances the skills, disciplines and overall capability of our staff.
“These are the same skills that are found within successful sports teams and organisations and that will be developed through the new programs offered by the Belper Town FC Academy.
“And one of the many reasons Lubrizol supports this exciting collaborative partnership that will help to enhance the training and development of all those that attend and support the BTFC Academy.”
