After a weather-affected January, Belper United are looking forward to a busy February featuring two massive top-of-the-table clashes.
United start off February with an away match against Swanwick Pentrich Road.
Three home matches follow, starting with clashes against the top two, Bulwell and Bilborough Pelican, and then the month is completed by a visit from Blidworth Welfare.
Meanwhile, United will be hopeful of making their debut in the Phoenix Trophies Floodlit Cup South tonight (Wednesday), weather permitting.
Belper United will be making their debut in the Phoenix Trophies Floodlit Cup South with a trip to Mickleover Royals (7.30pm kick off) at the Raygar Stadium.
Both sides have been without a game for a while with Mickleover Royals yet to play this year and Belper United’s only game so far being on January 4, which resulted in an excellent 4-1 away win in the league Cup against Easington United.
In the league, Belper United current sit in fifth place with a eight-point advantage over Mickleover Royals in ninth place but Royals have played two games less.
Meanwhile, the draws have been made for the league, Floodlit and President’s Cup. In the Floodlit Cup South, United will play either Bulwell or Southwell City, if they can beat Mickleover Royals.
In the League Cup Quarter finals, they have been drawn at home against the winners of Allenton vs Swanwick Pentrich Road.
The reserves start their defence of the President’s Cup at home to Mickleover Royals with the winners facing a trip to either Mickleover RBL or Harworth.
