“They are training today and then we will see after the training session.

“Both (injuries) are a carry on from the game against Sutton which was a physical game.

Aldershot came from 3-1 down to draw with Boreham Wood at the weekend and currently sit 13th in the National League with one point fewer than the Blues.

Rowe, who had two play-offs campaigns with Aldershot as assistant manager, still has a strong connection with his former club.

“The pitch has improved from observing the games they have played so that is good,” he told the DT.

“If we win tomorrow it won’t feel like a complete win because of my affiliation with my ex club.

“I have got a strong relationship with the fanbase so I am going all out for the win, of course, I am representing Chesterfield, I am single-minded about what I want to achieve tomorrow, but if we do win I know myself it won’t feel like a complete win because you have an affiliation with places you have worked before.”
