The Nailers have finally secured the services of Hinsley from Worksop Town after first declaring an interest during the summer.

And Black feels the striker will bring goals and experience to his side’s front-line.

“He brings quality, goals and is dangerous in both boxes. He gives us the experience and a physical edge,” said Black.

“He is a player I have known for a long time and one we have admired. We are delighted to have him here.

“We wanted to get him in during the summer but Worksop offered him a deal he couldn't refuse, and one we couldn't match - so we had to admit defeat with regards to bringing him in.”

And Grant feels Hinsley has made the move for all the right reasons.

“He was impressed by us when we played Worksop and realised we could be a play-off contender at least,” added Black.

“To be able to get him in for what we have financially is a testament that the club are doing something right

“He's come for peanuts. It is like being on Premier League money and going to National League money, it shows he’s hungry to play football and be at a good club.

“Financially everyone is on similar money, there's no big earners as such. Everyone who is one the bench gets the same money.

“It allows us to have a strong 16 now and this brings even more competition for places.

"We have got 20 players who I feel could start in our team.”
