BELPER Town leapfrogged Leek Town to go fourth in the table and move into the play-off places on Tuesday evening after a 90th minute goal from leading scorer Jon Froggatt gave Peter Duffield’s side a staggering 14th win from the last 15 games.

In front of 398, the Nailers led on 35 minutes through Ashley Longstaff but the visitors looked to have halted Belper’s seven-match winning streak with an 83rd minute Matt Haddrell equaliser.

However, Jon Froggatt’s dramatic 90th minute winner means that with one game left, at home to New Mills this Saturday, the Nailers just need to win to make certain they extend their season.

Leek Town dropped to sixth place and are home to already relegated Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday. Sheffield FC are fifth and they too have a home game to finish the 2011/12 league campaign with as Romulus visit them.
