Non-league clubs could get share of £10m grant - report
Non-league clubs from steps three to six of the National League System could be set to receive a share of a £10m grant, it has been reported.
These divisions, classed as non-elite, have been postponed since lockdown, with some clubs not having played competitively since October.
However, the Government is set to announce £10m in grant funding for these clubs, according to BBC sports editor Dan Roan, who announced the news on Twitter.
How that money will be distributed and what timescale that will cover has not yet been made clear as details are just emerging.
The National League divisions, steps one and two, will not receive further grants, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport have announced.
