However, there are a few players that played for the Rams in the same spells that you might well have forgotten about. Here are ten of them...

England star Paul Parker came to Derby in the final stages of his career, getting just four games before departing for Sheffield United and then retiring soon afterwards.
Robert had made his name at Newcastle, Montpellier and Paris St Germain but only managed a few games with the Rams before retiring not long afterwards.
Grenet earned a reasonable run in the team at Pride Park having arrived from Bordeaux but eventually returned to France where he remained for the rest of his career.
Ghaly arrived on loan from Tottenham during the infamous 2007/8 season but couldn't help the Rams' fortunes. He retired after seeing out his career in his native Egypt.

The American winger had a long career in England but Derby was his last port of call before he headed to LA Galaxy and then into retirement.
Daino (right) was a loanee from AC Milan but only managed two appearances in England before returning home where he remained for the rest of his career.
Feuer had a long career in England but, on loan from Wimbledon, featured just twice for Derby in the Premier League as cover for Mart Poom. He now coaches in the USA.
The Swiss keeper came on loan from Luzern and made two appearances, one as a sub, before returning home. He's now the Swiss national team's goalkeeping coach.
The Norwegian was a legend at his home club Rosenborg but only managed a short spell at Derby before departing and retiring two years later.
