Holbrook St Michaels fell to their second defeat in a month to Hucknall Rolls Leisure, going down 3-1.
In a very open first half Holbrook went ahead after 18 minutes.
After defending a Rolls set play Holbrook broke away with pace and Kabongo applied a cool finish after out pacing the Rolls defence.
The goalscorer caused Rolls more problems in the first half with his pace and trickery down either flank.
Rolls wide man Kane Mathews was also causing the visiting defence all sorts of problems.
The hosts got back into the game on 28 minutes, as Jack Smith capitalised on some hesitant defending and finished with aplomb from the edge of the box.
Rolls took the lead when Jack Mathews broke from midfield and slipped brother Kane Mathews inside his full-back and he finished from 20 yards.
Kabongo created a chance for a leveller at the end of the half but was wasteful with his shot.
On the hour mark, Rolls went further ahead when Kane Mathews cut in from the left, kept his cool and beat the on-rushing keeper.
Holbrook did put Rolls under pressure in the final minutes, forcing a succession of corners but Rolls defended the set plays well.
Rolls nearly added a fourth goal on 88 minutes, Rory Smith’s far post effort hitting the under side of the bar and bouncing down on the line.
