2012 has proved to be a busy and sucessful year for the members of Belper Bicycle Club.

The road season runs from early spring and ends in autumn, and it was the end of March when the all-powerful Belper BC veterans started making their mark, with Mike Allen winning the LVRC Solihull Circuit Race on the Tudor Grange Park circuit.

Mike also won his age category as these veteran riders not only compete to win events outright but also compete in their own age categories.

Mike went on to win the Minty’s Memorial Road Race at the beginning of May and again at the end of May in the Percy Stallard road race in the Malvern Hills near Worcester.
