League leaders Loughborough were too strong for plucky Belper in another match affected by a heavy mudbath of a pitch.
Belper had as much of the ball as their opponents, but the visitors were more efficient at getting over the try-line when they made it into the attacking third.
The outcome was a 22-13 victory for Loughborough, who scored three touchdowns in the opening half. They have now won 11 of their 12 fixtures this term and remain a point clear at the top of the National League, Midlands 3 East (North) table, ahead of Kesteven.
It was the eighth defeat in 12 games for Belper, who sit in ninth position in the 12-team table, with only Boston, Nottingham Moderns, whom they visit this coming Saturday, and Sleaford below them.
