Nailers make good progress

LAST week’s games saw Belper Nailers progress with a 5-0 win over Duffield Old Boys in a well-fought game at Alton Manor.

Nailers will take on either Belper Town or Belper United in the semi final to be held on Thursday, April 28.

In the other quarter final game, Ambergate recorded a fine victory against Bargate United in a hotly-contested match which saw some end-to-end football.

Both goals came from substitute R Jones in the second half.

This week, Belper Town took on Belper United last night (Tuesday) at Christchurch Meadows.

On Thursday night, Holbrook St Michaels are home to Swanwick Pentrich Road, 6.30pm.
