Chesterfield Youth Bowling Club enjoy success

Chesterfield Youth Bowling Club is celebrating a run of quality results.

Club member Jenna Mason moved up to third place in the national rankings for the British Tenpin Bowling Association Tour (a combination of all youth tournament held across the country) in the girls U22s.

Jenna (20), who is from Derby, is also one of the club coaches and is playing an active role in bringing through the next generation.

Connall Mair (20) achieved second place in the boys U22s rankings, while Chestefield’s Kiera Black (12) came out on top of her divisional rankings for the whole country.

Michael Kimberley, one of the club’s officials, said: “I speak for all of the YBC members when I say how proud we are of their achievement.

"It is a testament to their dedication, commitment and hard work along with the support of their coaches both at Chesterfield YBC and nationally, especially during these difficult times.“Sarah Pickles, the Managing Director from Serendipity Healthcare who sponsor Kiera, said: “Kiera’s achievements this year have been amazing, it is an absolute pleasure to be able sponsor Kiera again.

"She is a fantastic young lady with so much potential. We wish Kiera all the best for next year’s season and hope that she achieves her dream of becoming part of Team England.”
