Godolphin’s six-year-old stayer has not been seen since finishing a gallant second in the Ascot Gold Cup in June. But he has gone well fresh in the past and should relish the mud that is sure to be flying in this opening contest of Qatar British Champions Day. Even without those advantages, he has just about the best form on offer -- against opponents who either have questions to answer or who seem to be on the downgrade after long, hard seasons.
