THE unseasonally wet weather brought a rash of cancelled cricket fixtures throughout the county over the weekend.

Belper Amateurs firsts had their home game in division 5N against Denby thirds cancelled although the Amateurs seconds played and managed a tie from an abandoned game at West Hallam in division 7N.
Duffield lost both their first and second team games to the conditions but the thirds recorded a 27-point win at Clowne Town in division 9N.
