Laugh your socks off at one of the most popular nights in Derbyshire.
Manford’s Comedy Club is returning to The Loft in Matlock this Friday, November 6.
The venue is hosting its 20th such event - and its founder couldn’t be more delighted.
Celebrity comedian Jason Manford said: “After holding the first ever Manford’s Comedy Club at The Loft, we could never imagine it would go just as successfully as it has done.
“Shows now run in major cities throughout the UK but we could never leave our first ever venue. It’s great to be part of such a wonderful town.
“Get yourselves along and expect to be laughing from beginning to end!”
Four comedians are sure to banish the autumn blues and raise plenty of laughs at The Loft.
The line-up for Friday’s show includes Fin Taylor and Harriet Kelmsley.
Fin began performing stand-up whilst at Bristol University in 2009.
He soon became professional and went on tour to support Glenn Wool and Russell Howard, as well as regularly warming up for BBC1’s Pointless, hosted by Alexander Armstrong.
Fin’s debut solo show at the Edinburgh Festival in 2014 was met with four-star reviews and full houses.
He has two tours of Europe under his belt, including headline shows in Latvia anEstonia.
He has acted in both BBC and Channel 4 online comedy shorts and made multiple appearances on the Josh Widdicombe XFM show.
Harriet Kelmsley began stand up at the turn of 2011. That year she won nationwide female comedy competition Funny’s Funny, was named Up The Creek’s One to Watch and has gone on to be a Laughing Horse and Leicester Square new act finalist and to win Bath Comedy Festival new act of the year and Brighton Comedy Festival new act of the year.
