Derby Shakespeare Theatre Company comes to Derby Guildhall Theatre next week to bring to life the uniquely comical tale, Twelfth Night.
The story captures a perverse and complex series of events in this comedy of the bitter sweet, melancholic and sadness.
Illusion and delusion mix in a heady atmosphere of a lost world as it hurtles towards a desperate finale.
Washed up on the shore of Illyria, Viola disguises herself as a boy in order to find a way home and to discover the fate of her presumed drowned brother.
On her journey she discovers a world of disguise and deception.
A world where identities may be untruthful, occupied with hopes and love. However, Viola discovers that if you live with your head in the clouds, strange things are bound to happen.
Twelfth Night is on from next Tuesday to Saturday, March 8 to March 12 at 7.30pm each night, plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets for the performance on March 8 are priced at £9, while tickets for all other shows, including the Saturday matinee are £12 and £10.
Tickets are available on 01332 593939 or www.derbytheatre.co.uk
