A LEABROOKS man who re-invented himself as a photographer has opened his own gallery in Cromford.
Ian Jenkins, 39, had an industrial accident in 2006 which left him with mobility problems and depression.
Ian said: “I spiralled into depression at first, but I had some counselling sessions at the Croft in Ripley and did a digital photography course. I found a hidden talent.”
Ian has used his savings to set up DID Photography’s gallery and studio on Mill Road in Cromford, above Cromford Learning.
Ian’s work covers everything from wildlife photography to abstracts to pet portraits. He can be contacted by calling 07523182905 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
