The music of Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy comes to The Flowerpot in Derby this week as the venue welcomes probably one of the most in-demand tribute bands to grace its stage, Limehouse Lizzy.
Armed with some of the most evocative and powerful tracks in rock history, Limehouse Lizzy are an outstanding outfit who perform a stirring and detailed tribute to the late great Phillip Lynott and Thin Lizzy.
Extensive touring in the UK and abroad has earned Limehouse a fiercely loyal fan base.
Advance tickets are available for what will be a massively popular gig.
The gig is on Friday, February 5 and doors open at 8pm.
The following night, Saturday, February 6 sees a return for one of the country’s leader guitarists, Ron Sayer and The Charlotte Joyce Band.
Taking the rocky road from Hank Marvin to Robert Johnson and all stops inbetween, Ron Sayer is former winner of Guitarist Magazine’s Guitarist of the Year award and has toured the globe and played with or supporting a host of star names including Buddy Guy, John Mayall, Walter Trout, Robin Trower, Ten Years After, Imelda May, Nine Below Zero, Mr Big and The Quireboys.
Charlotte Joyce has been a professional singer for all her working life and is vocal coach to many other professional singers.
She won Guitarist Magazine’s first Acoustic Guitarist Of The Year award and was runner-up in the keyboard category in the 2014 British Blues Awards.
She has also worked with the likes of Paul Jones, Dr Feelgood, Clem Curtis, Jo Harman and Joanne Shaw Taylor.
Tickets for both gigs are £12 from the venue or Raw Promotions on 01332 834438 or www.rawpromo.co.uk
