Rod Stewart has announced a one-off exclusive ‘Hits’ arena show, which will take place at Nottingham Capital FM Arena on Thursday, June 23.
This will follow a string of open-air stadium gigs, giving fans a chance to enjoy the star’s spectacular show in a more intimate setting.
The legend last hit the stage in Nottingham three years ago with sold-out hit-filled show.
Tickets are on sale from www.aeglive.co.uk
With no shortage of chart topping tracks to choose from, this show is guaranteed to live up to the name featuring timeless classics such as You Wear It Well, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Baby Jane, The First Cut is the Deepest, I Don’t Want To Talk About It, Tonight’s The Night and Sailing.
Rod Stewart said: “I’m looking forward to a fun, energetic evening with my wonderful fans in Nottingham. I’ll be playing your favourite hits, with a few surprises too. It’s going to be a huge pleasure to bring them inside to a more intimate arena setting.”
Rod has been gearing up to the release of his eagerly anticipated 29th studio album Another Country, which came out last week via Capitol/Decca Records. Featuring songs written and produced by Stewart, cementing his place as one of the world’s most skilled songwriters, Another Country is a sonically varied album, where Rod operates at his creative peak, exploring styles that he hasn’t previously such as reggae, ska and Celtic melodies.
Rod Stewart is one of the best selling artists in the history of recorded music, with over 200 million records sold worldwide. His signature voice, style and haircut have transcended all genres of popular music, from rock & roll, new wave and even tackling the Great American Song Book; making him one of the few stars to enjoy continued success over five decades.
Having been inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of fame twice, (as a solo artist and as part of The Faces), countless awards and a new album on the horizon, Rod Stewart is sure to enjoy many more years of success in the studio and on stage alike.
