The popular Jo-Ann and Becky, aka The Haley Sisters, will be playing their special mix of country, folk, blues and rock at Uppertown Social Centre on Saturday, May 28.

Good solid songs featuring a magical blend of vocal harmonies and top-notch musicianship are the trademarks of the band, first formed in 1989, and have appeared with Freddy Fender, George Hamilton IV and Daniel O’Donnell, to name but a few. Becky provides vocals and a powerful rhythm and finger-style guitar. Jo-Ann also sings and is the rock-solid anchor on bass. Jo-Ann and Becky were born and raised in West Yorkshire. From a very early age, they followed in their parents’ footsteps BY showing a strong interest in music, especially country music. The Haley Sisters first appeared professionally back in 1989, when they launched themselves into a successful singing career. Humour and musical diversity mean The Haleys always provide a memorable and entertaining show. And at least if it’s sold out you’ve got another chance - The Haleys are due back again in December!
