Triple bill of music at club on Friday

Friday, August 2, is the date for a night of music at Smalley Common Club, Belper Road, Stanley Common, with three acts performing.

The featured group is the East Midlands-based, five-piece indie rock band, Roses of Wallam who were recently signed to Sound Hub Records.

Their single Made Up was released in 2013 and their music video was filmed at the club, reaching over 100,000 views in a matter of weeks.

Also on the bill will be Jake Suleman, a 24-year-old established vocalist/musician. Jake has been entertaining holidaymakers in Gran Canaria for the last five years. In addition, he has regularly played on the local pub and club scene on his many visits home.

He packs the venues with his range of quirky, traditional and cultural mixture of rock and pop covers. Jake rocks the night with his acoustic and electric guitar but also plays the drums and piano.

Third attraction of an exciting night is Jordan Samuel, aged 18, who is becoming established as a great crooner. He sings covers of well-known artists like Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, The Killers, Coldplay, Kings of Leon and many others. In addition, his smooth swing voice can feature numbers by Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.

This fabulous line-up is not to be missed.

Visitors are welcome, in addition to members. Admission is only £2 (all pay) and the evening kicks off at 9pm.
