Award-winning West End theatre hit Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense is on its way to Buxton Opera House this autumn.
The production won Best New Comedy at the Olivier Awards in 2014.
Brothers Robert and David Goodale bring to life the charmingly incompetent Bertie Wooster and his unflappable valet Jeeves in this show which has been adapted from the works of P.G. Wodehouse.
When a country house weekend takes a turn for the worse, Bertie Wooster is unwittingly called on to play matchmaker and to also steal a silver cow creamer from Totleigh Towers. Naturally, the ever dependable Jeeves is there to prevent Bertie from making a fool of himself in front of a cast of Wodehouse’s finest characters including Gussie Fink-Nottle, Madeline Bassett, Sir Watkin Bassett, Dahlia Travers, Roderick Spode and Constable Oates.
The production has starred a host of big names during its run in the West End including Stephen Mangan, Matthew Macfadyen, Robert Webb, John Gordon-Sinclair, Mark Heap and James Lance.
Tickets for the performance at Buxton Opera House from September 10-12 range from £23 to £25 and discounts are available. Call the box office on 01298 72190 or book online at www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
