Peak District Artisans’ most prestigious event of the year will take place in Buxton’s Devonshire Dome on July 18 and 19.
Part of Buxton’s Festival Fringe, the award-winning Great Dome Art Fair showcases the talent of artists, ceramicists, furniture makers, designer-makers and artisans. Throughout the weekend members will deliver demonstrations and talks.
Among the 55 Peak District Artisans who will be exhibiting are ten Buxton-based artists; silversmith, Brenda Ford; fine artists, Adrienne Brown, Richard Prime, Zoe Badger, Louise Jannetta, Sandra Orme, Pauline Townsend, Janet Mayled, Ingrid Karlsson-Kemp; and photographer, Michela Griffith.
Eleven members will donate either a piece of work or a place at one of their workshops to a silent auction to raise money for Lane End Farm where disabled and disadvantaged young people can be at one with nature.
