medieval Belper will be interested in a guided walk on Saturday 28 July. With local historian Mary Smedley, participants will enjoy a leisurely stroll to scenic areas around the Market Place to learn about Belper’s importance in the centuries before the Industrial Revolution.
The walk will start from the Market Place at 2.30pm on Saturday 28 July. Adults pay £3 while there is no charge for accompanied children. Walkers are welcome to bring dogs on leads. Booking is not necessary; just turn up to the Market Place at 2.30pm.
