Death in the spotlight of Herring’s new show

Richard Herring will be bringing his bluntly titled show - We’re All Going To Die! - to Nottingham Glee Club in the spring as part of his national tour.

The prolific comedian, once the writing and performing partner of Stewart Lee, is to perform the show at Glee Club Nottingham on Thursday, March 6.

After sorting out politics (Hitler Moustache), religion (Christ on a Bike) and love (What is Love, Anyway?) in some of his most recent touring shows, Herring returns to tackle the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveller returns (apart from Jesus and that canoe bloke).

Is death a tragedy or an excuse to have an extended lie-in?

Are we snuffed out or forced to endure eternity without bodily pleasures?

Death is inevitable, so Herring believes we should laugh in its face while our hearts still beat and our jaws are still attached.

Doors open for the performance at 6.45pm and tickets are £15 (£10 NUS).

The show is for those aged 18 and over.
