MAN, new play from Leicester-based 598

MAN is the name of a new comedy, devised by the Leicester-based Citizen598, and it can be seen at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre on Friday, May 25, from 7.30pm.

Starring Dan Edwards and Nathan Human, MAN takes you on a 34-year story of how life is sometimes not what we expected when we were seven years old.

It’s a nostalgic tale involving a well-documented experiment in beard growth, a roleplayed story about what to do should you ever meet Sylvester Stallone (and if he should ask whether you preferred Rocky or Rambo) as well as the re-enactment of the hilarious life-affirming event which made them the men they are today.

It’s a story told with comedy, storytelling, performance and projection which culminates in a show stopping, dad-dancing finale.

Tickets cost £10 (£8 concessions). Call the box office on 01332 255800.
