Solar panels ‘would not be obtrusive’

Sixty solar panels will be installed at Belper School’s sixth form block, if a planning application is approved. Derbyshire County Council said the panels would provide electricity for the daily use of the site and would help reduce its carbon footprint.An application to the borough council said the panels would not be obtrusive and would be at the rear of the building to prevent vandalism.
