Choir will be in fine voice
The Pye Hill and District Male Voice Choir is to appear in concert at Sutton in Ashfield Salvation Army Corps, Bown Street, Sutton in Ashfield, on Saturday, September 27, at 7.30pm.
The choir is one of the oldest male voice choirs in the country, dating back to 1903, and the concert is part of a very busy and full year of performances, including a successful tour to Norfolk in May, performing at Winterton and Caister on Sea.
The concert will include the likes of Jamaica Farewell, Bright Eyes, Pedro the Fisherman, The Song of the Jolly Roger, Aquarius, and You’ll Never Walk Alone. There will also be a range of solos performed.
