Firefighters have been dealing with a large blaze in a Derbyshire town.

Crews from seven stations were called to the incident on Hallmoor Road, Darley Dale, at 12.10am on Saturday.

Shortly before 2am, a Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “This large incident involves a domestic building fire that has spread to adjacent property

“We also have two special water carriers in attendance to help with providing water to resolve the incident.

“We would ask local residents to keep windows and doors closed.”
