According to leading business magazine Property Week, Chesterfield is ranked at number 26 in a top 100 list of top retail locations in the UK. Meanwhile, figures show the shop vacancy rate in Chesterfield town centre is 7.3 per cent - below the national average of 12.3 per cent.
