Belper Town have launched a fundraising campaign to generate funds to repair the Raygar Stadium following extensive damage caused by Storm Babet.

The Nailers’ ground was devastated by flood waters last Friday which caused significant flooding to the pitch and club facilities, leading to the postponement of their fixture against Newton Aycliffe.

The surface of their 4G training pitch has been damaged with redecorating and reflooring costs to the clubhouse, kitchen, offices and dressing rooms also to factor in.

It is the third time in five years that Belper Town has been hit by floods, meaning they cannot be insured against flood-related risks. They are looking to raise £18,000 and you can donate HERE.
