9. Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Mark Wright - The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop
We’ve already covered some famous names that have visited Bakewell, but a number of celebrities have been revealed as big fans of one of Derbyshire’s most iconic foods - the Bakewell pudding. How better to prove you love the Peak District than to settle down there? This was exactly what Kelvin Fletcher, former Emmerdale and Strictly Come Dancing star, did back in 2021 - when he purchased a 120-acre farm at Wincle (in the far west of the Peak District). A pair of programmers, Fletcher’s Family Farm and Kelvin's Big Farming Adventure, have covered the family’s move to the Peak District - and Kelvin is also an ambassador for the Peak District National Park Foundation. Hammond was filming in nearby Cromford back in 2021, as part of a series called ‘Britain’s Great Rivers’, before surprising locals by popping into The Fishpond at Matlock Bath for a drink.
